Ms. Nettie - Nanette Klenklen has been connected with Our Saviour Church since 1987. She has taught Sunday School with the younger children, taught VBS and been a volunteer in the preschool classroom. When asked to be the preschool assistant she accepted because she knew in her heart that God had led her to teach, love and encourage his children. Before working in the preschool Ms. Nettie , (as the preschoolers call her), had followed in her fathers footsteps and had been a barber for over 20 years. Although she still cuts hair for many of her loyal customers she finds what makes her heart happy is being in the classroom. Nanette also likes to cook, read and going to plays. She enjoys bible studies and sharing God’s word with others. Her favorite bible verse is, “Come to me all who are weary.” Matthew 11:28

Wayne has been involved with the food pantry, bread ministry, hospitality house, Youth ministry, Mid-week program, Sunday School and VBS. He always puts a smile on the students faces when he walks in the room. They love to build with him, have him read to them, play barbies and most of all they love to hide his hat. Wayne has a true gift and so much love to share with the students and he does this so willingly. Wayne of course is also a husband, grandfather, son and son-in-law. He has been a care giver for the last 15 years for his daughter, father-in-law, grandson and mother-in-law. Because of his giving heart this is where God has placed him.
Wayne also enjoys, if he had any spare time, cooking, reading, fishing, traveling, garage sales, and baseball. Thank you Wayne for sharing your love of Christ with each of us. |
